Geoffrey, Robert and Christopher talking to a vsisitors group from the Region
Constituency
Representing the Eastern Region
As explained on the main constituency page, as an MEP I am elected to represent constituents in the Eastern Region.
MEPs do not have individual constituencies like MPs. The UK is divided up into regions with the number of MEPs for each region dependent on the population. There are 2 other Conservative MEPs for the Eastern region. Picture right.
Mr Geoffrey Van Orden, is responsible for Essex and Suffolk and Mr Christopher Beazley is responsible for Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. I am responsible for Cambridgeshire and Norfolk.
If you have any questions about the EU or have a problem at European level, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Here are some examples of how I have helped Constituents in the Eastern region:
- Assisted a womens group with EU funding programmes to set up a refuge in the constituency
- Raised issues, questioned and requested information from the European Commission on behalf of constituents on a number of issues ranging from water policy to financial services, trade to envrionment.
